WHY SWITCH TO SUSTAINABILITY?
You must’ve seen a lot of technicolour hand and foot products floating around the market. Although they might attract your eye, once they’re disposed they make the surface of the earth ugly. To add to that they break easily but the latter is not our major concern. Plastic takes more than 500 years to decompose. Need we convince you more to make a sustainable shift?
IS IT A WISE CHOICE?
Vimi’s hand and foot brush is a great tool to add to your spa kit. It’s made out of natural wood which makes it an ecological choice. The handle is crafted in a manner to give you a good grip, so you can scrub the dead cells away. The bristles are made out of nylon, which will last a long while, although unfortunately they aren’t biodegradable. The bristles and the pumice stone combined gives you immense cleaning power, and leaves you with glowly hands and feet.
HOW TO GO ABOUT IT?
Soak the area you want to exfoliate in warm water, this preps your skin. Now pick a soap of your choice, apply it to the area and start scrubbing with the brush gently in circular motions. Once all the dead skin is off, go ahead and exfoliate the area with the pumice stone to reveal the soft and healthy skin that had been hiding underneath.
Wash the brush thoroughly once done.
GO AN EXTRA MILE TO UPCYCLE
Once you think the brush has served you well in the bathroom, you could use the brush end to wipe off dust from your table, laptop or shoes.
HOW TO DISPOSE RESPONSIBLY?
Pick out the nylon bristles with a plier and dispose of them in your curbside bin. The handle along with the pumice stone are biodegradable and can be disposed of in the compost bin.
